Position Purpose:
Working under limited supervision, is responsible for managing the definition and implementation of processes and applications, to meet the customer's current and future requirements for productivity and leading edge technology, using Applied Materials' products. This position works closely with the account and factory based process and technology groups, the product sales engineers and Accounts Management.

Responsibilities:
Provides process support plans for installation and warranty periods depending on product and process maturity.
Implements process CIP for assigned installed base.
Supports local CE and PSE during installation and warranty as required to achieve CPS and/or "best known" process performance.
Trains local CE and PSE to obtain and maintain required process knowledge to support installed base.
Responsible for installation and (product) qualification of "new" processes and technologies.
Executes process ß-sites.
Keeps detailed knowledge of installed process performance in assigned technological area up-to-date.
Develops customized processes (with customer and CE/PSE). Arranges regular customer process user meeting to drive installed process CIP.
Keeps up-to-date knowledge of competitive process performance.
Other duties as assigned.

Job Specifications
Knowledge:
Limited use and application of standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques. Minimum of 2 years of previous process engineering experience with semiconductor capital equipment. Fluent in English oral and written.

Skills and Abilities:
Excellent organizational/interpersonal/communication skills. Time management, self-organization and documentation skills (e.g. Project management skills).

Education and Experience:
B.S. level degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Chemical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.) or equivalent.
