Job Title: Head of ATON Production Line

Location: Alzenau, Germany
Responsibilities:
Develops and implements unit specific business management/sales strategies involving long term opportunity identification.
Manages the distinct ATON product line through the full lifecycle.
Interacts with internal and external customers involving the unit’s product line.
Formulate business plan and execution strategy for ATON business initiatives.
Provides approval guidelines and leadership to reporting managers in all functions managed.
Manage the PLC process for ATON.
Forecasts business and resource requirements, allocates expenses and resources. P&L forecasting (Revenue and Margin - what other companies call 'Bookings, Billings and Backlog'), target and tracking to target, ALE (above the line) and Op Ex reporting, and headcount forecasting, for all of ATON.
Gets into the field and helps people 'understand' what needs to be done to get revenue into a 'recognizable' condition.
Responsible for the planning and implementation of tactical strategies to achieve operational goals for product-related functional areas.
Responsible for the management and performance appraisal of direct staff, and for dotted line oversight of local staff that report elsewhere.
Overall budget manager for ATON, and ‘tracking the horizon’ -- to generate a part of the 'top line' which we will use as guidance for future solar sales. Responsible for budget management and targets for entire SBG -- and for Alzenau org and facilities.
PREREQUISITES:
Education and Experience:
Preferred: The equivalent of an advanced degree with at least 12 years of industry-related experience and five or more years of management experience.
Desired: Prior Upper-management/Director experience. Prior experience in photovoltaic’s industry.
