Job Title: Quality Manager I

Job Duties :
The Supplier Engineering manager will have overall responsibility for:
- Hiring, mentoring, developing, and appraising their direct reports
- Assessing supplier capabilities across a wide variety of manufacturing disciplines such as Machining.
- Fabrication, Welding and Joining, Ceramics, Assembly and Test, Plating and anodizing, Coating, Painting, - and Cleaning, as well as quality and production management and supplier management capabilities.
- Identifying and determining the root cause of supplier problems
- Working with suppliers to improve their delivery, lead time, cost and quality performance and capabilities.
- Certifying supplier capabilities
- Introducing and developing new techniques to assess and improve suppliers

Requirements :
Candidates must have a BS degree in an Engineering discipline, physics, or materials science
Minimum of ten years experience in manufacturing such as automotive, aerospace or semiconductor industries in a technical capacity with at least 4 years experience in managing college graduates with technical degrees.

Candidates should be prepared to provide evidence they possess skills in the following areas:
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese
- Lean manufacturing
- Use of Statistical Methods in quality improvement
- Presentation Skills
- Analytical skills
- Leadership
- Project management
